Corporate Finance Executive: Cardiff

The candidate will support our Corporate Finance Partners by producing accurate commercial information, market research, and transaction process management.

Our team advises on all aspects of corporate finance, including both buy-side and sell-side merger & acquisition advisory assignments, and debt/equity fundraising support. Our clients range from early-stage, high-growth businesses to large established companies.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Creation of business plans, valuations and advisory notes for clients and prospective clients
  • Being part of a team delivering full disposal, acquisition and fund-raising engagements from start to finish
  • Supporting the development of new business with the team through internal and external networking

The skill set we are looking for in candidates:

  • 1-3 years of experience in any accounting or finance-orientated role
  • University degree (minimum 2:1 from a Russell Group university)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Microsoft Excel financial modelling skills are a bonus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail
  • A willingness to take part in marketing and business development activities and a desire to build a network of contacts
  • Demonstrate an initiative-taking approach to learning
