Corporate Finance Executive: Leicester

Can you support our Corporate Finance partners with client management, maintaining relationships, producing accurate information and market research in a key role for the team?

Due to continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our Corporate Finance team by recruiting a motivated initiative-taker to fill the position of Executive within the team. The location will be East Midlands based but with a wider geographical remit on occasion.

Our Corporate Finance team advises on all aspects of corporate finance, including Mergers & Acquisition lead advisory and fund-raising support. Our clients range from entrepreneurial and owner-managed high-growth businesses to large established companies, and we collaborate with other advisory teams to achieve a high standard of client satisfaction.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Partner and Managers in delivering high-quality advice and reports for a range of clients
  • Being part of a team delivering full disposal, acquisition and fund-raising engagements from start to finish
  • Preparation of information memorandums, buyer research, financial models, business plans, valuations and other business advisory projects
  • Developing new business for the team through internal and external networking
  • Assisting in the ongoing development of department processes and procedures

Desirable criteria

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to take part in marketing and business development activities and desire to build a network of contacts
  • Excellent technical knowledge and can demonstrate an initiative-taking approach to learning
  • Flexible attitude to work and being able and willing to take ownership of their work
  • A strong collaborator and able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients
  • ACA Qualified

Please note – previous Corporate Finance experience is not required for this role
