    Free cash injection example

    For example, a team of five tax specialists looking to set up their own business with DSW, could receive an award of £50,000 per person. This would give the team a total upfront cash incentive of £250,000.

    * The size of the award for each team will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration service line, location and size of the team.

    Who are we?

    DSW is a mid-market, challenger professional services licence network. Initially established in 2002 by three KPMG alumni, we offer a genuine alternative to the traditional accountancy firm model.
    Our licence model offers a unique opportunity for any entrepreneurial finance professional looking to take their career to the next level by running their own business with the backing of a credible brand.

    We already have 20 licensee businesses who have made the leap to join us, including:

    • 97 fee earners
    • 11 service lines
    • 9 offices across the UK

    How does it work?

    Under our model, you own 78% of your fee income after the deduction of a 22% license fee. This means you earn a much more significant percentage of the fees you bill.

    In exchange for your licence fee, you will benefit from a range of support services that enable you to focus on winning work, executing engagements, and then agreeing and collecting fees. Our support services include working capital funding, compliance, marketing, mentoring, admin and IT.

    Who we are looking for

    We are appealing to ambitious Directors and Assistant Directors who manage an existing team of two or more professionals.

    We are particularly interested in talking to teams specialising in corporate finance, financial due diligence, business recovery and tax advisory but we are open to other complementary service lines.

    Dow Schofield Watts is seeking to attract break-out teams to join our award-winning network of advisory businesses, as we continue our expansion across the UK.

    To support you in launching your own business, we will award teams a free cash injection and assist with set up to enable you to hit the ground running.

    From the first discussion to board approval, our Partner Recruitment Process is outlined below.

    Meet with our in-house recruitment team to discuss the business model and determine whether launching a business with DSW is right for you.

    You will be introduced to James Dow, CEO and Nicole Burstow, CFO to discuss your experience and what launching a business with DSW could look like for you.

    Work with Pete Fendall, Business Development & Operations Director, to develop your business plan and determine your funding requirements, potential future earnings, and additional incentives.

    Complete an initial psychometric assessment and interview with Liz Lawson, Talent & Resourcing Manager, to understand your strengths, areas for development, and appetite for risk.

    Present your business plan to the DSW Capital plc board and receive board approval to proceed with the launch of your business.

    On average the process takes approximately two months from first discussion to receiving board approval, however we will move at your pace. Once you’ve received board approval, we’ll work with you to get everything up and running ahead of your start date.
