Free cash injection example

For example, a team of five tax specialists looking to set up their own business with DSW, could receive an award of £50,000 per person. This would give the team a total upfront cash incentive of £250,000.

* The size of the award for each team will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration service line, location and size of the team.

How does it work?

Under our model, you own 78% of your fee income after the deduction of a 22% license fee. This means you earn a much more significant percentage of the fees you bill.

In exchange for your licence fee, you will benefit from a range of support services that enable you to focus on winning work, executing engagements, and then agreeing and collecting fees. Our support services include working capital funding, compliance, marketing, mentoring, admin and IT.

We are seeking ambitious Tax Directors and Assistant Directors who manage a team of two or more professionals.

Dow Schofield Watts is seeking to attract Tax Advisory breakout teams to join our award-winning network of advisory businesses as we continue expanding across the UK.

To support you in launching your own business, we will award teams a free cash injection and assist with set-up to enable you to hit the ground running.

From the first discussion to board approval, our Partner Recruitment Process is outlined below.

1. Initial Discussion

Meet with our in-house recruitment team to discuss the business model and determine whether launching a business with DSW is right for you.

2. Meet the CEO and COO

You will meet Shru Morris, CEO, and Pete Fendall, CFOO, to discuss your experience and what launching a business with DSW could look like for you.

3. Develop Your Business Plan

Work with us to develop your business plan and determine your funding requirements, potential future earnings, and additional incentives.

4. Complete Partner Assessment

Complete an initial psychometric assessment and interview with Liz Lawson, Talent & Resourcing Manager, to understand your strengths, areas for development, and appetite for risk.

5. Meet the Board

Present your business plan to the DSW Capital plc board and receive board approval to proceed with the launch of your business.

On average, the process takes approximately two months from the first discussion to receiving board approval; however, we will move at your pace. Once you’ve received board approval, we’ll work with you to get everything up and running ahead of your start date.
