Graduate Corporate Finance Associate: Leicester

Our Midlands-based Corporate Finance team is an innovative team, continually working on high profile, sell-side and buy-side transactions, supporting a range of clients from entrepreneurial and owner-managed high-growth businesses to large established corporates.

Our projects are fast-paced and time-sensitive, providing the successful candidate with every opportunity to learn the process of acquiring and selling businesses.

You will be involved in all aspects of a project at various stages of the lifecycle, including:

  • Support in the development and maintenance of client relationships, including pitch/proposal preparation and presentation to clients.
  • Support in the preparation of transaction marketing materials and other client requirements.
  • Valuation analysis and calculations.
  • Undertaking analysis of financial data.
  • Working on key contracts and keeping project stakeholders informed of developments.

You will be given the opportunity to:

  • Build your commercial acumen by working with clients from a variety of different sectors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to gain experience and network with a range of advisory professionals.
  • Enhance your network within the advisory community.
  • Gain an elevated level of experience in dealing with clients from an early stage whilst being actively involved in all aspects of a transaction from the initial pitch stage through to delivering a successful transaction to clients.
  • Assist the M&A leadership team on wider team initiatives.
  • Develop your skills through informal and formal training, including bespoke training courses and working towards a formal finance qualification (ACA or CFA).

You will be involved in dealing with complex transactions, which will help you develop, grow and build your skills whilst collaborating with colleagues to achieve our goals as a business is a graduate role; we are specifically looking for candidates who are strong communicators (written and verbal) and proficient with numbers. We are open to graduates who have completed their studies in 2023 or who are expected to complete their studies in 2024.
